Best lunch with best friend

Fresh seafood, nice ambience, cool marina breeze- what more can I ask for? It is the combination of all of the above and being with one of my best friends which made today’s lunch the best I’ve had this year. We haven't seen each other for quite some time but it didn't seem like it. So much to talk about yet there are moments when we would be quiet and all you can hear is "yum" in between bites of the succulent and delicious feast in front of us.I could have more of this but then again- one is enough of this Summer Hummer which is a mixture of Malibu coconut rum, melon liqueur, creme de coconut mix, whipped cream then topped with cherry- so smooth while you drink it and perks you up just right!
And these are what you call weapons of destruction ......
To take care of this mass of goodness! It is called the Pacific Clambake which is a combination of steamed clams, oysters, Pacific mussels, dungeness crab, snow crab, shrimp in the shell, halibut and salmon skewer, Andouille sausage, corn on a cob and red potatoes in their jackets.
And we came up victorious!

Our success deserves a reward---- strawberry-rhubarb cake in a pan served with vanilla ice-cream!
