Tuesday - Strawberries and Cream
Strawberries and
cream is my theme for Tuesday. It is such a yummy combination especially now
that strawberries are in season again. So my angel food cake is filled with
sliced strawberries I mixed with confectioner’s sugar. I let it sit for 30
minutes to let the berries bleed before mixing with the softened cream cheese
and Light Cool Whip as the final touch once more. I forgot that I was supposed
to just fold it to the strawberries-cream cheese mix and used the mixer so I
had to freeze the cake to firm up the frosting. It will be perfect when it’s
ready to eat, I know. Look at this slice of pretty in pink angel cake!
