“Dressing up” my ramen
Who says cup noodles or instant ramen is boring? Well, maybe if you eat it as it is. But there’s a lot of ways to make it more inviting and delicious. I would prepare it as my lazy-girl’s dinner or lunch but dressing up my ramen is what I’ve been doing to my cup noodles even when I’m at my laziest. Additional broth, vegetables, eggs, mushrooms, maybe some left over meat, chicken, pork or beef cutlets, tofu and the likes; whatever you have in the fridge, fresh scallions or cilantro - and some sesame oil which is my magic ingredient in making ramen because it really enhance the flavor of the soup. And as the final touch, squirts of sriracha hot sauce and lemon or lime juice… delicioso!
